hand-turkey

so, being a vegetarian, i have a tough time with the whole turkey motif for thanksgiving. (i also have a hard time with the fantasy-idea of what thanksgiving means, or in other words the naive perception that all was fair and fun between pilgrims & indians, but that's neither here nor now). Anyway, i can't deny how cute this craft would be, if i had my own children, or my own classroom full of young students tracing their handprints and filling cute fabric with cotton
