andrew bannecker is the artist. i love her 'fro, the flowers in the vase, and the steamy leaves flowing from the mug.
i want this hankie that i found on happy lady eats. i have a collection of hankies going. recently i folded them in fourths and used them as coasters. i also like them as mini tablecloths on my nightstand. so far i've just got a floral theme going but this confection one is super sweet.
i am proud to note that redheads can pull off that fuschia shade...(that's not me, but it could be. blog=design is mine)
looks easy!! dip a sugar cookie in melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peppermint!!......(pulled from cupcakes & cashmere) (pssst-i'm gonna attempt my first apple pie, for thanksgiving. wish me luck!)
phenomenal movie. a must-see. a good one to see by yourself, at the Laemmle, on a cool night, with popcorn.
various beautiful images from 100 layer cake.....(is it weird that i still enjoy wedding blogs even though my own wedding was 5 months ago? whatever, i don't care!)
so, being a vegetarian, i have a tough time with the whole turkey motif for thanksgiving. (i also have a hard time with the fantasy-idea of what thanksgiving means, or in other words the naive perception that all was fair and fun between pilgrims & indians, but that's neither here nor now). Anyway, i can't deny how cute this craft would be, if i had my own children, or my own classroom full of young students tracing their handprints and filling cute fabric with cotton
i've been collecting marinara sauce jars and salad dressing bottles as we finish them off. i'm ready to scrub some labels off and turn them into vases. i love these images i came across on the blog, heart of light. something about single blooms in simple containers is so pretty and can make such a difference in an apartment!!
